MonitoringLocationDescriptionText UMMP SITE #10 IS LOCATED ADJACENT TO BLUE SEAL FEEDS AND NEEDS AND WITHIN THE IMPOUNDMENT AREA OF THE GARVINS FALLS DAM THAT SPANS THE CHANNEL DOWNSTREAM. THIS IS A DEEP WATER SITE WITH FLAT WATER AND SAND DOMINATING THE RIVERBED COMPOSITION. BACTERIA SAMPLES ARE COLLECTED ALONG RIVER RIGHT BEHIND THE PUMP HOUSE WHILE ROCK BASKETS ARE DEPLOYED/RETRIEVED OFF RIVER LEFT IN A BOULDER FIELD JUST UPSTREAM OF ABANDONED RAIL ABUTMENTS. THERE IS AMPLE RIPARIAN BUFFER ALONG RIVER LEFT WITH A MARGINAL BUFFER ALONG RIVER RIGHT.
