Bay, oak, madrone, manzanita, poison oak, coyote brush, blackberry, fir, and water mint are the primary riparian vegetation. The pond bottom is primarily silt and clay. The surrounding land use patterns consist of housing and gardens. There is also cattle ranching on a neighboring property, the cows have been known to cross the fence on to Tribal land. The pond itself is a hydrological modification as it is a human made dam. |
