MonitoringLocationDescriptionText This site is located on Kawi Creek. Oak, poison oak, fir, grass, and yellow dock are the primary riparian vegetation. The stream bed consists of small rocks, gravel, sand, and silt. The surrounding land use patterns consist of housing, a Tribal Office, and commercial use of the smoke shop and casino/café including a parking lot with oil stained parking spaces and issues with the café grease trap leaking used cooking oil onto the ground. The neighboring property has cattle grazing and they have been know to cross the fence on to Tribal land. The site is located near a culvert where the creek goes under Sherwood Hill Drive.
