MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | This site is a pond located north of Mitomkai Rd and east of Eastside Rd. Willow, blackberry, cattails, coyote brush, and pine are the primary riparian vegetation. The pond bottom consists of silt and clay. The surrounding land use patterns consist of housing, gardens, and apparently some kind of car salvage endeavor as the pond is surrounded in non-operable vehicles in various stages of disarray, often these vehicles are stuffed with trash. The pond itself is a hydrological modification of a human made dam. |
