MonitoringLocationDescriptionText This site is located on Dead Cow Creek just after the creek enters Tribal land on the northeast side of the property. Small oaks, manzanita, soap root, poison oak, ferns, moss, and grass are the primary riparian vegetation. The stream bed consists of large, small and medium rocks, some covered in moss. The surrounding land use patterns consist of undeveloped land where elk, deer, and wild boar roam, and a neighbor just on the other side of the fence has cattle. There are no hydrological modifications. This is generally one of the most pristine sites with no algae, trash, or other contamination observed.
