MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | This site is located on Dead Cow Creek just before a driveway crosses the creek. Willow, oak, blackberry, water mint, and unidentified aquatic plants are the primary riparian vegetation. The testing site is a wide pool. The stream bed consists of large, medium, and small rocks with sand and silt. The surrounding land use patterns consist of housing and gardens. There is a hydrological modification of a rocky stream crossing that kicks up silt into the water each time it is crossed. |
