MonitoringLocationDescriptionText This site is located where Dead Cow Creek exits the Old Sherwood Reservation under the bridge where Sherwood Rd crosses the creek. Willow, bay, blackberry, water mint, fir, and ferns, are the primary riparian vegetation. The stream bed consisted of small rocks, gravel and silt. The surrounding land use patterns consist of housing and horse pasture on the west side and undeveloped land on the east side. There are no hydrological modifications besides the bridge which is high and wide enough to not usually interact with water flows.
