MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | PRAIRIE CREEK WALK-IN SITE. ACCESS IS TO FOLLOW A PRIVATE DRIVEWAY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 310TH STREET ON THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY OF SECTION 16 (T112N/R18W). THE DRIVEWAY IS 1/3 MILE EAST OF CULVERTS WHERE THE ROAD CROSSES PRAIRIE CREEK. DRIVE TO A HOUSE, THEN FOLLOW A DIRT ROAD WEST ALONG THE EDGE OF A CORN FIELD TO WHERE THE ROAD CROSSES THE CREEK. THE SITE IS IN THE CENTER OF SECTION 21 (T112N/R18W), 4.5 MILES WEST OF CANNON FALLS, MINNESOTA; LOWER PORTION UPPER MISS BASIN. T112N/R18W/S21. GOODHUE COUNTY. INTENSIVE SAMPLING IS CONDUCTED BY THE MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY ON A SEASONAL BASIS TO IDENTIFY WATER QUALITY CHARACTERISTICS AT LEAST IMPACTED SITES FOR NONPOINT SOURCE POLLUTION.
