MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Water quality parameters including chlorides are monitored monthly. Historically well water levels were also measured, however are not currently monitored due to many obstructions in the well. Well is to become a production well for tribal water supply during the dry season and is to be rehabilitated to include an access tube for water level measurements and datalogger measurements in the future. Three water use meters are monitored. Marie Nau Finkbonner's meter is present in the grass on the south side of Germaine Road at the top of the hill. The other two meters are located in the grass on the southeast corner of the property at the Sandy Point Hatchery (these meters are no longer there). The westmost meter is the hatchery meter and the easternmost is a meter recording water use from a standpipe in adjacent field used by Arnold Finkbonner. An arsenic treatment facility was built in 2012/2013 so that water could be used by the district and contributed to the public water supply. Water quality data can now be collected from within the new facility. |
