THE SITE WAS DESCRIBED BY THE NPS AS "OAK BOTTOM SPRAY TRIBUTARY" AND WAS LOCATED ON AN INTERMITTENT STREAM UNDER THE BRIDGE FOR STATE ROUTE 299 NORTH OF THE OAK BOTTOM AREA INSIDE THE WHISKEYTOWNSHASTATRINITY NATIONAL RECREATION AREA (WHISKEYTOWN UNIT.) THE DATA WERE COLLECTED FROM APPROXIMATELY 1972 UNTIL 1980 BY PARK PERSONNEL FOR FOURTEEN TOTAL LOCATIONS. THE DATA FOR EACH LOCATION WERE IN SEPARATELY BOUND FILES.
