MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE FRENCH GULCH CA 7.5' SERIES (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. THE SITE WAS DESCRIBED BY THE NPS AS "CLEAR CREEK FRENCH GULCH HOUSING" AND WAS LOCATED UNDER THE BRIDGE FOR A LIGHTDUTY ROAD OFF OF TRINITY MOUNTAIN ROAD; JUST NORTH OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH STATE ROUTE 299 INSIDE THE WHISKEYTOWNSHASTATRINITY NATIONAL RECREATION AREA (WHISKEYTOWN UNIT). THE DATA WERE COLLECTED FROM APPROXIMATELY 1972 UNTIL 1980 BY PARK PERSONNEL FOR FOURTEEN TOTAL LOCATIONS. THE DATA FOR EACH LOCATION WERE IN SEPARATELY BOUND FILES.
