MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE SITE IS LOCATED ON THE GROVER; N.C.S.C. 1:24000 SERIES USGS TOPOGRAPHIC QUADRANGLE. THE STATION IS LOCATED ON STONEHOUSE BRANCH 50 FEET UPSTREAM FROM THE SECOND BRIDGE ON DELLINGHAM ROAD; BEGINNING AT THE INTERSECTION OF LOOKOUT TOWER ROAD AND DELLINGHAM ROAD. THE SITE IS MARKED WITH TWO METAL POSTS; ONE ON EACH BANK. THIS STATION IS ONE OF SEVEN SAMPLED AS PART OF KINGS MOUNTAIN (KIMO) NATIONAL MILITARY PARK'S WATER QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM. SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED AND ANALYZED BY SUPERVISED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS USING A HYDROLAB. SEMIANNUAL REPORTS DOCUMENTING THESE DATA HAVE BEEN PRODUCED BY KIMO. FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT KEVIN B.
